I love this refrigerator I bought it for my mother. Shelf break. I have extended warranty and I keep getting mixed signals from the store about the insurance. I believe I contacted the vendor and they said that my shelf is covered but the store says his cosmetic? How can a broken shelf be cosmetic? I need real answers and Im not getting them here

Really like this refrigerator. It is quiet nice and deep but not without one or two things that could make it better. The pull out drawers at the bottom of the refrigerator side have the pull located at the bottom of the drawer which is not handy or normal putting an indent closer to the top of each drawer would make this more user friendly. The other items is the lack of a cold cut drawer this is minor we use a plastic covered storage bin in the place of a drawer. Note that without the cold cut drawer you do have more flexibility for food storage in the refrigerator side. So far we are really enjoying this product. Thanks LG

I have enjoyed having so much space in my refrigerator. However I have had trouble with the ice maker. Right now we think it is from using only the crushed ice feature.. also you need to let people know that the plug is on the top of the fridge. It makes a difference in whether it will fit under the cabinets.

It is overall a great refrigerator. My only complaint is the ice maker. The holding bin is extremely small and takes quite a while to fill. In the hot Arizona summers I am afraid it will not keep up with the ice usage. Also there are times I want to set the freezer below -4 degrees. Not sure how a totally computerized fridge will work in the long run.

Pros Outweigh The Cons...I guess

Pros: I bought this fridge because 1 I liked the large capacity and how the shelves drawers and door shelves maximize that capacity. 2 I wanted glass shelves in the freezer not racks. 3 I liked how the drawers rolled smoothly. Im still happy with all of these features after having it for 8 months These were my non-negotiables and why I would probably buy it again despite all of the things I dont like about it because these three features were best in its class of all the side-by-side fridges we looked at in store. I also like the digital features like the alert when the door has been open too long the digital display panel etc. Cons: Water and Ice Dispenser: 1 My biggest issue with this fridge is that our water comes out of the water dispenser warm. You can fill maybe one small glass with cold water and then the water comes out warm and the initial cold water really isnt even that cold. 2 I dont like how theres one button to click through for all of the options. Why cant each of the options just have its own button? 3 The cubed and crushed ice dont seem too different from each other- cubed comes out basically crushed. 4 The ice bin is small and difficult to get ice out of if you dont go through the dispenser. 5 I prefer to grip the cup and use my knuckles to press the lever because it feels more sanitary than putting the lip of the cup that Ive been drinking out of or against the lever for a refill but in order to get ice you have to push the lever with the cup and even then it still usually spits out bits of ice onto the floor even when cubed is selected. Design: 6 I thought I wouldnt like how low the handle is but Ive actually been fine with that but I hate how it collects crumbs and is hard to clean. 7Not lots of options for adjusting shelf height. 8Why cant the pulls for the drawers be at the top of the drawer so you dont have to stoop to the floor to pull out the bottom drawer 9 The manufacturers packaging left a sticker line going vertically along the front right panel and I cant get it off even with cleaner. Function: 10 I wish it would alert you in some way when the filter needs to be changed instead of having to remember to check the control panel periodically. 11 It says it has door cooling but we noticed our salsa got moldy when it hadnt been in the fridge that long we had it in the door.

We made this purchase based on Consumer Reports reviews and the positive reviews were accurate The interior is spacious and easy to keep clean. The ice maker is in the door providing even more freezer storage. The ice cubes are smaller but adequate and the volume is adequate for two grandparents and four grandchildren. The exterior stainless steel is also easy to keep looking like new. There is easy access to the simple controls and water filter. We feel like weve made a great choice

Its nice and roomy which I like but the ice maker failed the 2nd day after install. Did the online chat which is annoying and got disconnected a number of times and then have to give all the same info to the new person that answered. Was told I have to install a new icemaker otherwise Id have to wait and maybe pay a technician from LG to install. After about 10 days still waiting on ice maker.

Every time we close the refrigerator door freezer door pops open. We called to get it fixed and was told we are out of warranty and will be minimum $500 to get the LG technician out to check it. We modified it ourselves by putting magnetic disks on the freezer door.

First of all this is a good looking refrigerator. I shared a picture on social media and received a compliment. It has plenty of space inside for all my perishables in both the freezer and the refrigerator. I really like the ice maker in the door feature. It works quite well and doesnt consume a lot of shelf space in the freezer. I also like the size of the ice it makes plus I can have crushed ice or cold water without opening the freezer door. It also makes less noise than my previous refrigerator.

Love the looks of this fridge. Having the ice in the door gives you more room in the freezer. The water filter even after dispensing several gallons of water leaves an after taste in your mouth. Fridge makes no noise except when ice bucket is empty. You can hear the cubes dropping in the bucket. Love the recessed handles. They leave no finger prints because you open from underneath.

Pros: Big on the inside and plenty of shelves. It took me a while to figure out how to pull the drawers out. I was actually lifting the glass and I thought who designed this? There is a lip on the bottom of the drawer. If you have a bad back forget about it. There is no drawer for deli meats/cheese. For no apparent reason the refrigerator one day didnt work. Very disappointed. We have not connected the water line as we have had the refrigerator just shut down for no apparent reason. We are in the process of moving so we have had no time to contact the manufacturer.

Everything was going fine until the ice maker stopped working. The troubleshooting with support lead to the need for a service call. The technician replaced the board and found that the new board was defective. Put the old board back and then the ice maker started working.

We bought the door in door model of this which I believe is only sold at Lowes. The surface does show every little fingerprint and scuff and sent even though its supposed to be the stainless steel no show fingerprint option. And since there is not a handle per se you do come in contact w the surface more often. Overall like the interior and it does do its job of staying and getting cold. We like the smaller ice cubes too.

Purchased this item a few weeks ago and I am pleased with it. Had a few issues initially with the cooling. I called LG and requested help for this matter. The LG tech came to my house and explained to me how this inverter system works and how the unit is designed to cool. Now my new fridge is cooling perfectly as it should being an LG There is plenty of room in the cooling and freezing compartments. The icemaker works well and quickly. The most positive feature of the unit for me is in knowing that LG provides excellent support for their products. LG doesnt just sell a product and leave the buyer to try to figure it out - they are eager to offer support to their buyer to help the buyer understand how their product works so the buyer can truly enjoy having an LG product.

Weve had this refrigerator for about 2 months now and are very happy with it. There is plenty of room in both the refrigerator and freezer the only drawback is the ice maker bin is small because it is in the door. Other than that the refrigerator was cold hours after installation and havent had any problems.

My model no. is actually LLFGC2706S counter depth Instaview with ice and water inside but my model wasnt on the list as a choice. I am very happy with this purchase except in hindsight the full width deli drawer is a drawback as I would prefer not to have to open both french doors to retrieve items. Happy about the generous space in both fridge and freezer sections. The fingerprint resistance leaves a bit to be desired

Love my LG Refrigerator Very spacious and everything I use is easily accessible. We eat a lot of fresh veggies so the large drawer is my favorite The freezer allows me to sort my food to make dinner choices stress free. Very happy with my LG appliances

Broke after a month

I bought this refrigerator one month and a half ago and its been broken for almost two weeks. While its still under warranty it should be fixed soon but the fact that a part has already failed doesnt bode well. Im hoping the repair will last but I regret buying this model. While it worked it was fine and I was happy but a major repair after only a month is ridiculous.

Within the first 48 hours the mother board failed. Could not control temperature and refrigerator at 27 degrees. Service replaced board and ice maker. No further issue. Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. Arrived when he said he would.

this is the first refrigerator that dose not make any noise its so quiet it fires right up and had a tray of ice ice maker not hooked up froze within 3 hrs of pluging in the refrigerator very excellent
